The Centers for Advanced ENT Care has always been committed to providing the highest quality healthcare.  With that, we continue to follow the COVID-19 crisis and the recommendations for testing, treatment and isolation that continue to change. Since our cleaning protocols in our practices have always met or exceeded the current recommendations, no change is needed. We are, however, making the following changes to our patient policies until further notice.

hearing aid

Hearing Aids

Our Baltimore, MD, audiology team is comprised of licensed and certified physicians and professionals who provide comprehensive hearing evaluations, diagnosis, and hearing aids to address all causes of hearing loss. During your hearing test, one of our audiologists will examine your medical history and conduct a series of non-invasive hearing tests to determine the cause of your hearing loss. We have many types of hearing aids available and can help you choose the right option for you based on your audiology needs, cosmetic concerns, and individual budget. A custom-made hearing aid can dramatically improve your life, improving your hearing, speech, and balance.

balloon sinuplasty

Balloon Sinuplasty

The sinuses are air-filled spaces that surround the nasal cavity. When the sinuses become inflamed or infected, patients can experience difficulty breathing and other uncomfortable side effects. If you have had a sinus infection lasting longer than two months and medications have not helped, balloon sinuplasty is a minimally invasive procedure that can improve your nasal breathing for good. During the procedure, one of our doctors will insert a tube into your nasal passages and gently inflate it, opening the sinuses and removing blockages. For most patients at our practice serving Baltimore, MD, balloon sinuplasty is highly effective and does not require additional surgery.

The muscles inside the throat are especially prone to injury, strain, and a condition known as laryngitis. If you are experiencing frequent sore throats, coughing, or other throat issues, you may be a good candidate for laryngoscopy at our Baltimore, MD, practice. Laryngoscopy is a relatively straightforward procedure during which our doctors will use a tiny camera to view the inside of your throat, searching for growths or obstructions that could be triggering your issues. To ensure your comfort during the procedure, our doctors may administer anesthesia to relax your throat and sedation to help you feel calm during the 45-minute exam.

A 5-Star Review from Our Patient

"A few months back I came down with a sinus infection and was able to set up an appointment with Dr. Schneyer at their Owings Mills office. Starting off, my experience interacting with the front desk staff was nothing but pleasant, professional, and cordial. They made processing my appointment a breeze! When it came to going back for my appointment, the medical assistant that I worked with as well as Dr. Schneyer himself, were both extraordinarily warm, communicative, and helpful in providing quality care..." -Bradford Drewniak, 5-Star Google Review
